Retaining Walls
The retaining walls are up...
The retaining wall at the driveway features a viewing slot.

and we have footings!
The Contractor took advantage of a few nice days and the footings have been poured. You can see even better the outlines for the three wings and the front garden.

Excavation
The excavation is complete! You can see very clearly in these images the three wings overlooking the lake with a flat garden on the opposite side.
Since one of the Owners is a gardener it was important to save as many trees as possible which can be noticed in these aerial photos. We even made a few design changes once the excavation began and noticed areas where more trees can be saved. For example, the turnaround area changed shape and size to comply with this request.
